In Minecraft, Cracked Deepslate Bricks are a decorative block and a cracked variant of Deepslate Bricks. They cannot be crafted directly, but are obtained by smelting Deepslate Bricks in a furnace or found naturally generated in ancient cities. Cracked Deepslate Bricks are primarily used for building purposes, adding an aged and dilapidated look to structures. This block has a hardness of 6 and a blast resistance of 3.5. It must be mined with a pickaxe to be obtained; using any other tool will not yield any drops. In Creative mode, it can be obtained through the inventory or commands. Its item ID and data values differ between Java and Bedrock editions. Cracked Deepslate Bricks are not used in any crafting or smelting recipes and are solely for decoration. Their distinct cracked appearance differentiates them from regular Deepslate Bricks, offering more building options. Introduced in the 1.17 update, they are part of the Caves & Cliffs update.
