Dead Coral

Original Title:Dead Coral

Languages:

  • Chinese: 失活的珊瑚
  • English: Dead Coral
In Minecraft, dead coral refers to the lifeless variants of coral, which lose their vibrant colors and turn gray. There are five different dead coral variants, corresponding to: tube coral, brain coral, bubble coral, fire coral, and horn coral. These dead corals can be obtained in several ways. In Survival mode, players can find living coral in Warm Ocean biomes and mine them with a pickaxe, or they can place living coral out of water to let them die naturally. It's worth noting that if you mine living coral with a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch, you will obtain the living coral directly instead of the dead coral. Dead coral cannot be turned back into living coral and is primarily used for building and decoration. Dead coral blocks can also be placed under note blocks to produce a bass drum sound. The natural generation of dead coral is limited to Bedrock Edition; they do not generate naturally in the Java version.
