Dead Fire Coral Fan

In Minecraft, a dead fire coral fan is a decorative block that results from a living fire coral fan when it is out of water. It comes in five variants: tube, brain, bubble, fire, and horn. Dead fire coral fans cannot be crafted but can be obtained by mining living fire coral fans with a Silk Touch enchanted tool or found in coral reefs. In the Java Edition, placing a live fire coral fan outside of water will turn it into a dead fire coral fan after a short time, while in Bedrock Edition, the transformation is immediate. Dead fire coral fans can be used for building or decoration but cannot be turned back into living coral fans. These fans cannot be reproduced in-game and their color cannot be changed, making them a non-renewable resource. They can be obtained using commands in creative mode. Dead fire coral fans can also be placed under note blocks to produce bass drum sounds.
