Dead Horn Coral Block

Original TitleDead Horn Coral Block

Languages:

  • Chinese: 失活的鹿角珊瑚块
  • English: Dead Horn Coral Block
In Minecraft, the Dead Horn Coral Block is an item that cannot be crafted using a crafting table or furnace. Instead, it must be obtained by finding living Horn Coral Blocks in coral reefs within Warm Ocean biomes and mining them with a pickaxe. When a living Horn Coral Block is mined, a smaller Dead Horn Coral Block is dropped. It's important to note that if a live coral block is mined without a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch, it will drop a dead coral block. Dead Horn Coral Blocks are grey-colored blocks that can be used for building or decoration. Unlike live coral blocks, they cannot be used for sea pickle farming. A live coral block will also transform into a dead coral block after a short time if placed out of water. A dead horn coral block cannot be turned back into a live coral block. Dead Horn Coral Blocks do not naturally generate in Java Edition, but they do naturally generate in coral reef structures in Bedrock Edition. All types of dead coral blocks can be placed under note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds. Additionally, Dead Horn Coral Blocks can be obtained in creative mode using commands. The command allows the user to specify how many dead horn coral blocks to obtain and to whom they will be given. The command can be placed in a command block to be executed when a redstone signal is received.
