In Minecraft, the Dead Tube Coral Block is a decorative block that cannot be crafted. To obtain it, players must first find living Tube Coral Blocks, typically found growing in coral reefs within warm ocean biomes. Mining a live coral block with a pickaxe (without the Silk Touch enchantment) will drop the corresponding dead tube coral block. Dead tube coral blocks are gray in color, unlike the vibrant appearance of living coral blocks. They can be used for building and decoration, but cannot be used for sea pickle farming like their living counterparts. Once dead, coral blocks cannot be turned back into a living state. In Creative mode, dead tube coral blocks can be found directly in the inventory. Additionally, the block can be spawned using commands. Each version of the game has its own unique ID and /give command for the dead tube coral block, depending on the game version being played, such as Java and Bedrock editions.
