Decorated Pots are a decorative block in Minecraft, introduced in the 1.20 'Trails & Tales' update. These pots can be crafted using bricks or pottery sherds, and their appearance can be altered based on the materials used. Each of the four sides of a Decorated Pot can be crafted using different bricks or sherds, creating various decorative patterns. A Decorated Pot can store a single stack of items, but the items can only be retrieved by breaking the pot or using hoppers. Players can find naturally generated Decorated Pots in trial chambers, which may contain loot. Besides being decorative, Decorated Pots can also serve as temporary building blocks or for storing bricks. They are stackable and easy to craft and break. Additionally, a redstone comparator can be used to measure the number of items stored in the pot. The top of the Decorated Pot has no collision, allowing other blocks, including flower pots, to be placed on top. In an upcoming update, Decorated Pots will be able to store up to a stack of 64 of the same item and will be accessible via hopper systems.
