Deepslate Lapis Lazuli Ore is a rare ore found in Minecraft, first introduced in the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I (version 1.17). Unlike regular Lapis Lazuli Ore, it is exclusively found in the deepslate layers deep underground, typically below y-coordinate 0 in the new cave systems. Deepslate Lapis Lazuli Ore cannot be crafted using a crafting table or furnace; instead, players must mine it. To mine this ore, a diamond, iron, stone, or netherite pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch is required. Regular mining yields lapis lazuli, while Silk Touch allows the player to obtain the ore itself. This ore is primarily used for enchanting, providing enhancements to player equipment. In Creative Mode, Deepslate Lapis Lazuli Ore can be found in the creative inventory. Additionally, it serves as a base for note blocks, producing a bass drum sound. Its significance lies not only in its rarity but also as a key component for crafting enchanted items and engaging in specific in-game activities.
