In Minecraft, a Dispenser is a redstone-powered device that can store items and dispense them when activated by a redstone signal. Dispensers have 9 item slots and can hold various stackable items. Unlike droppers, dispensers not only eject items but also perform specific actions depending on the type of item, such as shooting arrows, splashing potions, using flint and steel, and placing certain blocks. They play a crucial role in automated farms, traps, and various redstone circuits. Dispensers can be mined with a pickaxe, dropping themselves and their contents. If mined without a pickaxe, only the contents will drop. Dispensers naturally generate in jungle temples and trial chambers, and their output direction can face up, down, or sideways. Players can craft dispensers at a crafting table using 7 cobblestones, 1 bow, and 1 redstone dust. Through data commands, players can modify the Dispenser's GUI label or lock the dispenser so that it can only be accessed by players holding a specific item.
