End Gateways are intradimensional portals generated in the End dimension of Minecraft. They serve primarily as a means of rapid travel between the central island and the outer islands of the End. Up to 20 End Gateways spawn around the central island after defeating the Ender Dragon, one for each time the dragon is defeated, arranged in a circular pattern. These gateways transport players to the outer islands, each of which has a corresponding gateway that returns the player to the central island. Additionally, there are randomly generated gateways in the outer islands that always return the player to the obsidian platform. An End Gateway is composed of 12 bedrock blocks and an end gateway block. Players can enter the gateway by throwing ender pearls or using elytra. Upon generation, they emit a magenta beam, and a purple beam when a player enters. End Gateways are an important tool for exploring the outer End islands and offer a unique mode of transportation within the End.
