The Ender Chest is a special type of chest in Minecraft, characterized by its shared storage space across all Ender Chests. This means that regardless of where you are in the world, placing or finding an Ender Chest allows you to access items stored in other Ender Chests. The storage space within an Ender Chest is unique to each player, ensuring that valuables are securely stored in multiplayer games without fear of theft. Ender Chests have a capacity of 27 slots and cannot be combined to form larger chests. Players can find Ender Chests through crafting or in treasure rooms in the End City. Crafting an Ender Chest requires 8 obsidian and 1 Eye of Ender. Breaking an Ender Chest with a Silk Touch pickaxe will drop the chest itself; otherwise, it will drop 8 obsidian. Ender Chests do not interact with hoppers, droppers, or comparators, and cannot be pushed by pistons. They emit light, can be used to make bass drum sounds and provide secure storage for player's valuables, as the items inside are not lost upon death.
