The Fire Coral Fan is a decorative block in Minecraft, a variant of coral fans with a red color. It cannot be crafted using a crafting table or furnace and can only be found in coral reefs within the Warm Ocean biome. To obtain a Fire Coral Fan, it must be mined using a tool enchanted with Silk Touch, such as a pickaxe, shovel, or axe. Mining it without Silk Touch will destroy it, making it uncollectible. In survival mode, players must first locate a Fire Coral Fan and then mine it with a Silk Touch tool. Fire Coral Fans can be placed underwater or near water. In the Java Edition, they can survive outside of water as long as they are adjacent to a water source. However, in the Bedrock Edition, they will immediately transform into a dead fire coral fan when placed outside of water. Fire Coral Fans are used for decoration and building, adding color to underwater environments. They are non-stackable items and can be obtained through commands or Creative Mode. Additionally, using bone meal in the water of warm ocean biomes has a chance to generate coral fans, including Fire Coral Fans. They have different IDs and data values across various game versions and can be obtained via the `/give` command.
