Granite
Granite is a common igneous rock block in Minecraft, typically found in large pockets underground. It generates in the Overworld, and in Bedrock Edition, it attempts to generate twice in all biomes, with the first attempt between elevations 0 and 60, and the second between 64 and 128. Granite can replace stone, andesite, and diorite blocks. In Java Edition, it can also replace tuff and deepslate. Besides natural generation, granite may also appear in large copper ore veins, coral reefs, and desert village armorer houses. Granite requires a pickaxe to mine; otherwise, it drops nothing. Granite can be processed into polished granite for decoration. Granite and its variants can also be used to craft stairs and walls. Furthermore, placing granite under note blocks produces bass drum sounds. In Minecraft, granite serves not only as a building material but can also be traded with villagers.
