  • English: Gray Shulker Box
The gray shulker box is a dyeable storage block in Minecraft that, unlike other storage blocks, retains its contents when broken. A gray shulker box is crafted from a shulker shell and a gray dye. It has 27 inventory slots, the same as a chest. When broken, it drops itself and does not scatter its contents, making it a portable storage tool. Gray shulker boxes can be placed like chests and expand when opened, pushing away nearby entities. They can be used with redstone comparators to detect if they are full, and items can be input or output using hoppers. Players can change their GUI name by naming them or using the /data command. Additionally, gray shulker boxes can be placed on walls or ceilings, and the direction in which they open changes accordingly. The block properties of shulker boxes are: can be mined with any tool, but a pickaxe is most efficient; are blast resistant, and will drop themselves even if destroyed by an explosion; players can remove the dye color in a cauldron with water. Shulker boxes can store items and be placed inside any other container except for themselves. It's important to note that piglins will become hostile if a player opens or mines a shulker box.
