Languages:

  • Chinese: 砂轮
  • English: Grindstone
In Minecraft, a Grindstone is a functional block used primarily for repairing weapons, tools, and armor, as well as removing enchantments from items (except for curse enchantments). It also serves as a weaponsmith's job site block. Players can obtain a Grindstone through crafting or find them in village weaponsmiths' areas. When used, the Grindstone displays an interface with two input slots and one output slot. Players can place two identical items into the input slots to repair them, resulting in an item with the combined durability of both items plus a 5% bonus. Additionally, placing an enchanted item into an input slot removes its enchantments, returning some experience points. A Grindstone can be placed without support in Java Edition, but it will break if unsupported in Bedrock Edition. Grindstones cannot be pushed or pulled by pistons.
