Honey Block

Original TitleHoney Block

Languages:

  • Chinese: 蜂蜜块
  • English: Honey Block
The honey block is a unique block in Minecraft, first introduced in the 1.15 update called "Buzzy Bees." It can be crafted by combining four honey bottles. Honey blocks are sticky and can be used in conjunction with pistons to move other blocks and entities. Unlike slime blocks, honey blocks do not bounce entities, but instead slow them down and prevent jumping. Additionally, honey blocks reduce fall damage by 80%. Honey blocks also have unique uses in redstone mechanisms. For instance, when a piston moves a honey block, it attempts to move all adjacent blocks, which allows for the creation of complex mechanical devices such as elevators, conveyor belts, and flying machines. These properties make honey blocks widely applicable in both construction and redstone engineering.
