Horn Coral

Horn Coral is a non-solid block in Minecraft, belonging to the coral family and characterized by its yellow color. Like other corals, Horn Coral naturally generates in coral reefs within the warm ocean biome. Players cannot craft Horn Coral; it can only be obtained by mining with a tool (such as a pickaxe) enchanted with Silk Touch. Mining without Silk Touch will result in dead coral. When removed from water, Horn Coral will gradually turn gray and die, so to keep it alive it must be placed in water or next to a waterlogged block. Horn Coral can be used as a building or decorative block, or to produce a bass drum sound when placed beneath a note block. The game also features other coral variants including Tube Coral, Brain Coral, Bubble Coral, and Fire Coral, each with distinct colors and looks. Horn Coral also has corresponding coral blocks and coral fans, which are obtained similarly. While uncraftable, Horn Coral is a critical decorative and biome-specific resource for creating ocean-themed landscapes in Minecraft.
