Infested Stone Bricks

In Minecraft, Infested Stone Bricks, formerly known as Stone Brick Monster Egg or Silverfish Stone Brick, are blocks that appear identical to regular stone bricks but spawn silverfish when broken. These blocks cannot be crafted in survival mode and are only available in the creative inventory. Infested Stone Bricks are primarily found in structures like strongholds and igloo basements and can be used for decoration or to trigger silverfish attacks. They are similar to other infested blocks such as stone, cobblestone, and deepslate, all of which spawn silverfish when broken without Silk Touch. These blocks break faster than their normal counterparts and will trigger more silverfish to emerge when nearby silverfish are attacked. Infested Stone Bricks have had different names across Minecraft versions such as Silverfish Stone Brick in older console editions, and Stone Brick Monster Egg in older Java versions. Players can obtain Infested Stone Bricks through the creative inventory or through commands, but they cannot be acquired through mining.
