The Jungle Button is a mechanism block in Minecraft, a variant of the wooden button. It's primarily used to activate redstone circuits, and can be triggered by player interaction or by being hit with arrows or tridents. Compared to stone buttons, the Jungle Button remains activated for a slightly longer duration, 1.5 seconds. Jungle Buttons can be crafted using one jungle plank at a crafting table. In Creative mode, Jungle Buttons can be found in the inventory. They also generate naturally on house walls in desert villages. Besides being used as a switch, it can also be used as fuel in furnaces, albeit with low efficiency. Moreover, Jungle Buttons can be placed on the sides, bottom, or top of any full opaque block, and in Java Edition, buttons placed on the top or bottom can face any direction. It can also be attached to the top of fences in Bedrock Edition. In the game, Jungle Buttons can be used with redstone devices to achieve various automated functions.
