Lever

Original Title:Lever

Languages:

  • Chinese: 拉杆
  • English: Lever
In Minecraft, a lever is a non-solid block that provides switchable redstone power. It can be mined with any tool or by hand and always drops as an item. Levers can be placed on the top, side, or bottom of any solid opaque block, or on top of upside-down slabs or stairs. It serves as a player-switchable redstone power source, controlling various devices and mechanisms. Activating or deactivating a lever requires using the 'Use Item/Place Block' control (right-click by default). Unlike buttons, levers provide a stable charge, making them suitable for controlling devices that need to remain in one of two states indefinitely. In the Java Edition, levers have eight possible orientations, including on walls, tops, and bottoms, with different directions. In the Bedrock Edition, they can also be placed on fences, stone walls, or hoppers, and even underwater. Levers generate naturally in jungle temples, woodland mansions, and ancient cities. The lever is an essential redstone component in Minecraft for creating complex circuits and automated systems.
