Magenta Bed

A magenta bed is a dyeable block in Minecraft that allows players to sleep through the night or during thunderstorms, and sets their spawn point. It can be crafted in two ways: using three magenta wool and three wood planks, or with a white bed and a magenta dye. After using a bed, the player's spawn point is set near the bed, and if there are obstacles nearby, the player may respawn at the world's initial spawn point. Attempting to use a bed outside of the Overworld will cause it to explode, though villagers can sleep normally in any dimension. Like other colored beds, a magenta bed can skip the night if all players are in bed simultaneously. Beds of various colors can be found naturally in villages and trial chambers. A magenta bed can also be obtained through command codes, which have different IDs in different game versions. The bed's direction will affect the player's respawn point, so care should be taken when placing the bed.
