The mangrove fence is a wooden block in Minecraft used for building barriers and decoration. It was introduced in the "Wild Update" and, like other wooden fences, is crafted using planks and sticks. Mangrove fences are crafted using mangrove planks and sticks, yielding 3 mangrove fences per craft. Besides being a barrier, mangrove fences can be used as furnace fuel, though not very efficiently. They can also be combined with mangrove fence gates to add entryways to fence systems. The mangrove fence has a deep red color, making it visually distinct from other wooden fences. In creative mode, players can find the mangrove fence in their inventory. This block is available in both the Java and Bedrock editions and can be obtained with the `/give` command in different versions. Mangrove fences are mainly crafted from mangrove planks and sticks, where mangrove planks are made from mangrove logs, found in mangrove swamp biomes. The mangrove fence is functionally similar to other fences, connecting to similar fences but not different types of fences. This fence is a versatile building material in the game and can be used for diverse building and decoration needs.
