Mangrove Fence Gate

The mangrove fence gate is a special block in Minecraft that combines the functions of both a door and a fence. Introduced in the "Wild Update" (version 1.19), this fence gate allows players to enter and exit fenced areas. A mangrove fence gate can swing open like a door and swing closed like a fence. To craft a mangrove fence gate, you'll need 4 sticks and 2 mangrove planks, placed in a specific 3x3 crafting grid pattern. Mangrove fence gates not only serve as a barrier for players and mobs but can also be controlled with redstone, functioning as a switchable barrier. Additionally, they can be used as furnace fuel, smelting 1.5 items per gate. Mangrove fence gates can also be placed under note blocks to produce bass sounds. While it cannot be worn as a helmet in Survival mode, it can be equipped using commands, appearing as eyeglasses. The ID, block states, and give command for mangrove fence gates vary across different Minecraft versions.
