The Mossy Cobblestone Slab is a block in Minecraft, a variant of the slab. It differs from regular cobblestone slabs by having a mossy texture, giving it an ancient and natural appearance. These slabs are primarily obtained through crafting, requiring three mossy cobblestone blocks placed in the middle row of a crafting table. One crafting process yields six mossy cobblestone slabs. Mossy cobblestone slabs can be found in the Creative inventory. In Survival mode, players need to gather mossy cobblestone and craft the slabs. Mossy cobblestone itself can be found naturally in biomes like dungeons, jungle temples, pillager outposts, underwater ruins, plains, taiga, and snowy taiga. Mossy cobblestone slabs can be mined with any pickaxe; without a pickaxe, they drop nothing. This block can be used for both decoration and building, possessing similar characteristics to regular slabs, such as being half-height and blocking light. Players can use these slabs to create various architectural structures, providing a unique ambiance. Additionally, when placed under note blocks, mossy cobblestone slabs produce a bass drum sound.
