Muddy Mangrove Roots are a decorative block variant of Mangrove Roots in Minecraft. They are primarily used for decoration, adding an earthy look to builds. Muddy Mangrove Roots can be broken by hand, but using a shovel speeds up the process. When broken, they drop themselves. They naturally generate in mangrove swamp biomes where mud blocks intersect with normal mangrove roots at the bottom of mangrove trees. Additionally, when a mangrove propagule grows into a tree, any mud blocks intersecting with the tree's roots are converted into muddy mangrove roots. Muddy Mangrove Roots can also be crafted by combining mud blocks and mangrove roots in a crafting table. These blocks can be used to grow saplings, sugar cane, sweet berries, and bamboo, which can be planted directly on them. Mangrove Roots can be placed underwater without the water flowing out. Muddy Mangrove Roots can also be used in redstone circuits, transmitting signals even when waterlogged.
