The Ochre Froglight is a unique light-emitting block in Minecraft, obtained by having a temperate frog eat a small magma cube. It is one of three types of froglights, the other two being the verdant and pearlescent froglights. The Ochre Froglight emits light level 15, the highest light level in the game, making it ideal for decorative builds or navigating the Deep Dark. To get an Ochre Froglight, you first need to find an orange, temperate frog in a swamp biome, then lead it through a Nether portal to the Nether dimension. In the Nether, you'll need to locate the basalt deltas where small magma cubes spawn. When the frog eats a small magma cube, an Ochre Froglight is dropped. Besides emitting light, Ochre Froglights also melt snow and ice around them. In Creative mode, the Ochre Froglight can be found in the inventory, while in Survival mode, it must be obtained through the aforementioned method. It can be broken by any tool or by hand, and the drop is not affected, and its placement orientation is similar to logs and basalt and can be placed vertically or horizontally. The ID and data value of the Ochre Froglight varies depending on the platform, and it can be obtained through the /give command, which may differ slightly between Minecraft versions. Its lighting capabilities and unique method of acquisition make it a useful and valuable item in the game.
