In Minecraft, an orange bed is a dyeable block that allows players to sleep and reset their spawn point within a few blocks of the bed in the Overworld. If the bed is obstructed or removed, the player will respawn at the default world spawn location. An orange bed can be crafted in two ways: either using three orange wool and three wood planks, or using one white bed and one orange dye. The wood planks can be of any type. An orange bed not only allows you to sleep at night to avoid mobs, but also resets your spawn point. In creative mode, an orange bed can be found in the creative inventory menu. Orange beds can also be found in villages, where village houses of different structures will randomly generate beds of various colors. It is important to note that attempting to sleep in a bed in the Nether, the End, or custom dimensions where beds are disabled will cause the bed to explode and set fire to the surrounding blocks; villagers, however, can sleep normally in these dimensions without the bed exploding. The item ID and Give command for the orange bed vary depending on the Minecraft version.
