Polished deepslate is a stone-like polished variant of deepslate in Minecraft, introduced in the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I. This block can be obtained in two primary ways: naturally generated in ancient cities, or crafted using cobbled deepslate at a crafting table. When crafting, you need to place four cobbled deepslate in a 2x2 pattern to get four polished deepslate. Alternatively, a single piece of polished deepslate can be created with one cobbled deepslate via a stonecutter. Polished deepslate is used to craft other deepslate variants, such as polished deepslate walls, stairs, and slabs, and is also popular as a building material. It's durable and aesthetically pleasing, adding a unique style to any structure. Polished deepslate has the same hardness and blast resistance as stone and can be mined using a pickaxe. It can also be obtained using the /give command. Its texture resembles stone but has a darker color and a smoother surface, often favored by players for creating modern and unique designs.
