Potted Crimson Fungus is a decorative item in Minecraft, created by placing a Crimson Fungus in a flower pot. Crimson Fungus itself cannot be crafted using a crafting table or furnace; instead, it must be found and gathered in the Crimson Forest biome of the Nether. Potted Crimson Fungus can be placed on any solid block and will drop both the flower pot and the Crimson Fungus when broken. Aside from decoration, Potted Crimson Fungus can be used in a composter, with a 65% chance to increase the compost level by 1. In Creative mode, players can obtain Potted Crimson Fungus through the inventory or using the /give command. Additionally, bone meal can be used on Crimson Fungus, with a 40% chance to grow it into a Huge Crimson Fungus. Crimson Fungus is also used as food to breed Hoglins, although feeding them will not prevent Hoglins from attacking the player. There is also another similar type of fungus in the Nether called Warped Fungus. Similar to Crimson Fungus, Warped Fungus is found in its respective biome and has similar properties and uses.
