  • English: Potted Flowering Azalea
The Potted Flowering Azalea is a decorative block in Minecraft that cannot be crafted. Flowering azaleas generate naturally in lush caves, often on top of moss blocks. Players can place a flowering azalea into a pot by clicking on an empty pot while holding the azalea. In the game, flowering azaleas serve some functions beyond decoration. For example, they can be used by bees for pollination like other flowers, but they cannot be used to craft dyes. Both azaleas and flowering azaleas can be instantly broken by any tool or by hand, though harvesting them with shears provides no additional benefit. They also break when pushed by a piston or swept by water. They can be placed on grass blocks, dirt, coarse dirt, rooted dirt, podzol, moss blocks, farmland, mud, muddy mangrove roots and clay. Additionally, flowering azaleas can grow into azalea trees when bone meal is applied to them. Trees grown near flowering azaleas are more likely to have bee nests. Azaleas can also be used as fuel in furnaces, smelting 0.5 items per azalea. Both azaleas and flowering azaleas can be placed in composters with a high chance of increasing the composting level.
