Pumpkin
In Minecraft, a pumpkin is a fruit block that randomly generates in grassy biomes. It has the same texture on all four sides with a stem on top pointing northwest. Pumpkins can be mined with any tool, but axes are the fastest. Besides natural generation, pumpkins can also be obtained by planting pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds need to be planted on farmland with open space around them. A mature pumpkin stem will randomly generate pumpkins on adjacent open blocks. Carving a pumpkin with shears yields a carved pumpkin and pumpkin seeds. The carved pumpkin can be worn as a helmet or used to build snow golems and iron golems. Both pumpkins and carved pumpkins can be used in a composter, with a 65% chance of increasing the compost level. Additionally, pumpkins can be placed under note blocks to produce a unique didgeridoo sound. Pumpkins have a wide range of uses in the game, serving as decorations, building materials, and a source of food.
