Purple Wall Banner

The purple wall banner is a decorative block in Minecraft that can be hung on walls. It's similar to regular banners, but can only be placed horizontally on walls. Purple wall banners can be crafted using purple wool and a stick, or purchased from wandering traders. They serve as decorations and can also be used to apply patterns to shields. Players can customize the banner's design using different dyes and patterns, with up to six layers of different patterns. These patterns can be added via crafting tables or looms. In Java Edition, banners with more than six layers can be generated using commands, but they cannot be copied in-game. Purple wall banners can also be used as fuel in furnaces, although they are not very efficient. Additionally, they can act as markers on maps and can be placed in item frames. They have no collision, allowing players to pass through them, and water and lava will flow around them. In Bedrock Edition, purple wall banners can be waterlogged.
