Sandstone

Sandstone is a common solid block in Minecraft, typically found in deserts and beaches underneath layers of sand. It comes in two main color variants: regular yellow sandstone and red sandstone, which is associated with red sand. Sandstone is not affected by gravity, unlike sand, which falls. In addition to regular sandstone, there are three decorative variants: chiseled sandstone, cut sandstone, and smooth sandstone. These variants can be obtained through crafting or by using a stonecutter. Sandstone is widely used for building in the game and can be found in structures like desert villages, desert temples, and underwater ruins. Sandstone can be mined with any pickaxe, and if mined without a pickaxe, it drops nothing. Additionally, sandstone can be crafted into slabs, stairs, walls, and other building components, offering a variety of options for players. Sandstone also produces a bass drum sound when placed under a note block.
