  • English: Slime Block
The Slime Block is a unique block in Minecraft, initially added in Java Edition 1.8 and Pocket Edition alpha 0.14.0. It can be crafted by combining nine slimeballs in a crafting table. This block is both bouncy and sticky, making it incredibly useful for redstone circuits and building. Players and mobs bounce when they land on a slime block, and they won't take fall damage (unless sneaking). Slime blocks can also be pushed by pistons, and they will pull adjacent movable blocks, making them crucial for automation. Additionally, slime blocks can be instantly broken, which is useful when facing mining fatigue. In the game, slime blocks can be used for decoration or to store slimeballs. They offer not only a fun way to move but also a foundation for building complex mechanisms, providing Minecraft players with many possibilities.
