Small Amethyst Bud

The Small Amethyst Bud is a special item in Minecraft, introduced in the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I (version 1.17). It cannot be crafted using a crafting table or furnace; instead, it is found naturally within amethyst geodes in the game. The Small Amethyst Bud is the first stage in the growth of amethyst clusters, followed by the Medium Amethyst Bud, Large Amethyst Bud, and finally the Amethyst Cluster. These buds produce unique sounds when players walk on, break, place, or hit them with projectiles. To obtain a Small Amethyst Bud, players need to find amethyst geodes in Survival mode and mine it using a tool enchanted with Silk Touch (such as a pickaxe, shovel, or axe). In Creative mode, it can be found in the Creative Inventory. The primary use of the Small Amethyst Bud is as the initial growth stage for amethyst, eventually yielding amethyst shards. They can also be used for decoration, and their unique sounds enhance the game experience.
