Soul Lantern

The Soul Lantern is a special type of lantern in Minecraft, distinguished from regular lanterns by its unique blue flame. Introduced in the Nether Update, the Soul Lantern provides light and also serves to deter piglins. Its light level is 10, which is lower than the regular lantern's 15, making it slightly less effective for illumination. However, the Soul Lantern's distinct blue light makes it a popular choice for decoration and creating special atmospheres, particularly in snowy biomes where its blue flame contrasts starkly with the white landscape, adding a unique visual appeal. To craft a Soul Lantern, players need one soul torch and eight iron nuggets. The soul torch is crafted using soul sand or soul soil, requiring players to venture into the Nether. Soul Lanterns can be found in the creative mode inventory, or spawned using commands. Additionally, soul lanterns can be hung below blocks, similar to regular lanterns.
