Languages:

  • Chinese: 云杉木台阶
  • English: Spruce Slab
A spruce slab is a half-height block in Minecraft, belonging to the wood category. It can be crafted by placing three spruce planks horizontally on a crafting table, yielding six slabs at a time. Spruce slabs can be placed on the upper or lower half of a block, or stacked to form a full block. As a building material, spruce slabs are versatile and commonly used for floors, walls, and roofs. They are also used as ingredients for other craftable items, such as barrels and lecterns. In survival mode, they can also be used as fuel for furnaces. In creative mode, spruce slabs can be found in the inventory menu. They have relatively low hardness and blast resistance, can be broken with any tool, but axes are most efficient. It's worth noting that single slabs partially block light in the Java Edition and diffuse sky light in the Bedrock Edition, while double slabs are opaque. Furthermore, they can absorb some explosion damage and serve as part of redstone circuits, receiving signals from redstone dust below.
