Stone Brick Stairs

Stone Brick Stairs are a common building block in Minecraft, a stone brick variant of stairs. They are primarily used to create steps, allowing players and mobs to change elevation without jumping, and move faster, saving time and energy. Stone Brick Stairs can be crafted from 6 stone bricks at a crafting table, yielding 4 at a time. They can also generate naturally in certain structures such as cold ocean ruins, ruined portals in the Overworld, and strongholds. Stone brick stairs can be mined with any pickaxe; they drop nothing if mined without one. Additionally, stone brick stairs connect with other stairs to form corners and inside corners, and can be placed upside down on ceilings. They are found in the creative inventory and can be spawned using command blocks. They serve both decorative and functional purposes, such as creating staircases, bridges, and decorative structures. Stone brick stairs also produce a bass drum sound when placed under note blocks.
