In Minecraft, a Tuff Brick Slab is a slab variant made from Tuff Bricks. It was introduced in the 1.21 "Tricky Trials" update and is used as a building block. Crafting a Tuff Brick Slab requires Tuff Bricks, and each crafting recipe produces 6 slabs. Players can craft it on a crafting table using a specific recipe in survival mode, or find it in the creative mode inventory. Similar to other slabs, it can be placed in various orientations and is used to create various building structures. Additionally, Tuff Brick Slabs can be placed under note blocks to produce a "bass drum" sound. Tuff itself is an ornamental rock formed from volcanic ash, which spawns in underground ore blobs. Besides Tuff Brick Slabs, there are various other Tuff variants, such as Tuff Slabs, Polished Tuff, and Tuff Bricks. They all possess similar properties and can be used for constructing various types of structures.
