  • Chinese: 藤蔓
  • English: Vines
In Minecraft, vines are climbable non-solid vegetation blocks commonly found in biomes such as jungles, swamps, and lush caves. They naturally grow on tree trunks, canopy edges, and the sides of terrain, as well as on swamp oak or mangrove trees. In Bedrock Edition, vines can even appear on dying trees. Besides being decorative, vines can be used by players for climbing. Players can collect vines using shears and use them for decoration or creating unique landscapes in builds. Different from ordinary vines, there are two special types of vines in the Nether: the weeping vines found in Crimson Forests and the twisting vines found in Warped Forests. These vines have distinct differences in color and growth patterns. Additionally, there are cave vines that glow and usually grow on the ceilings of lush caves.
