Yellow Shulker Box

The Yellow Shulker Box is a dyeable storage block in Minecraft that, unlike regular chests, retains its contents even when broken, making it a portable storage solution. It's crafted by combining a regular Shulker Box with yellow dye. It provides 27 inventory slots, equivalent to a chest, allowing players to conveniently transport and organize large amounts of items. Its distinctive yellow color makes it easily identifiable among other containers. Shulker boxes can be placed and picked up repeatedly, making them essential for exploration and building projects. Additionally, shulker boxes can be placed on the ground, walls, or ceilings, orienting themselves based on the placement. It is important to note that a Shulker box cannot open if there is an opaque block above it but this can be fixed using an upside down slab or an upper trapdoor. The GUI of a shulker box defaults to “Shulker Box” but this can be changed by naming it on an anvil or using the /data command. When a shulker box is destroyed, the contents within will be dropped as items. Shulker boxes also have specific redstone properties such as being able to have their contents read by a redstone comparator, as well as observers detecting their opening and closing.
