In Minecraft, the Bee Spawn Egg is an item used to directly spawn bees. It cannot be crafted and is only obtainable in Creative mode or through commands. In Creative mode, players can find the Bee Spawn Egg in the Creative Inventory or by using 'pick block' on an existing bee. To use the egg, simply click on any surface of a block (top, bottom, or side) and a bee will immediately appear. Bees are friendly mobs that will not attack players unless provoked. They are crucial to the functioning of bee hives, collecting pollen and bringing it back to produce honey. Additionally, the Bee Spawn Egg can also be used to change the mob type spawned by a mob spawner; if used on a waterlogged spawner, it can spawn fish. While it's possible to use bee spawn eggs in survival mode, they aren't normally obtainable without cheats. The introduction of bees was part of the 'Buzzy Bees' update, which mainly focused on bees and related items, while fixing some bugs from previous versions.
