The Drowned Spawn Egg is an item in Minecraft primarily used to directly spawn Drowned mobs in the game. This spawn egg cannot be crafted and is only obtainable in Creative mode through the Creative inventory or by using commands. Drowned are underwater zombie variants that commonly spawn in oceans, rivers, and dripstone caves, or when zombies drown. They are known for their melee attacks and sometimes wield tridents for ranged attacks. Drowned are the sole source of tridents and the only renewable source of copper in the game. During the day, they are generally passive unless a player is in the water, but they become aggressive at night or during thunderstorms. The Drowned Spawn Egg is green with dark green spots. When used in Creative mode, it spawns a Drowned where the player clicks. It can also be used to change the mob type spawned by monster spawners, but Drowned will only spawn if the spawner is waterlogged.
