Firefly Spawn Egg

The firefly was a proposed mob for Minecraft, first mentioned at Minecraft Live 2021. The initial concept was to have frogs eat fireflies to produce froglights, but this plan was ultimately scrapped due to the fact that some species of fireflies are poisonous to certain frogs in real life, as well as performance concerns. Nevertheless, fireflies have been implemented in some mods where they can be caught in bottles and glow, providing a subtle light source at night or in dark caves. While there is no firefly spawn egg in vanilla Minecraft, players can obtain it using commands or in creative mode. Fireflies are very small, only two pixels in size. They were intended to spawn primarily in biomes such as swamps and mangrove swamps. The purpose of fireflies was to enhance the environmental atmosphere of Minecraft, but it was not implemented due to the aforementioned issues. However, players can still experience fireflies and their unique experience through mods.
