In Minecraft, the Frog Spawn Egg is an item used to directly spawn frogs. It cannot be crafted and is only obtainable in the Creative inventory or through commands. The Frog Spawn Egg appears orange with gold spots. When used, it instantly spawns a frog on the surface clicked, and the type of frog (warm, temperate, or cold) depends on the biome it's spawned in. Frogs are passive mobs typically found in swamps and mangrove swamps. They eat small slimes and magma cubes. When a frog eats a small magma cube, it produces a froglight of different colors depending on the frog's type. Frogs can be bred using slimeballs, and after breeding, they lay frogspawn on the water surface. Frogspawn cannot be picked up directly and will hatch into tadpoles after a while. The Frog Spawn Egg can be renamed, and the spawned frog will display the same name. Additionally, using a rabbit spawn egg named "Toast" will generate a rabbit with a special skin, while naming it "Dinnerbone" or "Grumm" causes the mob to appear upside down and show the given name. The Frog Spawn Egg is not obtainable in survival mode; it is only available in creative mode or through commands.
