In Minecraft, the Ghast Spawn Egg is an item used to spawn ghasts directly. This spawn egg cannot be obtained through in-game crafting and is only available in Creative mode or through commands. In Creative mode, players can use the 'pick block' function on an existing ghast to obtain the corresponding spawn egg, or find it directly in the Creative inventory. There are 80 different spawn eggs in Minecraft Java Edition and 82 in Bedrock Edition. To use a spawn egg, simply use it on any surface (top, bottom, or side). When used on a top surface, the ghast will immediately appear next to the surface and play its ambient sound. It's important to note that spawn eggs cannot be thrown like normal eggs; players must be within normal block range to use them. Additionally, monsters spawned using spawn eggs in Peaceful mode will be immediately deleted. Furthermore, spawn eggs can be renamed on an anvil, causing the spawned mob to display the name above its head and in death messages when killing a player.
