Glow Ink Sac

A Glow Ink Sac is a unique item in Minecraft, obtained from glow squids. Unlike regular ink sacs, glow ink sacs have a special glowing property, allowing them to be used to create glow item frames or make text on signs glow. Glow squids spawn in groups in dark underwater environments, and upon being killed, drop 1-3 glow ink sacs. Using a weapon enchanted with "Looting" increases the number of drops, up to a maximum of 6. Glow ink sacs do not emit light themselves but make text more visible in the dark and add an outline around sign text that matches its color. Additionally, combining a glow ink sac with an item frame creates a glow item frame, which allows displayed items to be seen clearly at night. Introduced in the Minecraft 1.17 Caves & Cliffs update, glow ink sacs offer new decoration and lighting options, making them highly sought after by players.
