Gold Nugget

In Minecraft, gold nuggets are an essential resource used to craft gold ingots and various other golden items. One gold nugget is worth one-ninth of a gold ingot. Players can obtain gold nuggets through several methods, including: killing zombified piglins, which have a chance to drop 0-1 nuggets; using a weapon enchanted with 'looting' when killing zombified piglins, which adds extra nuggets based on the enchantment level, up to a maximum of 4; mining nether gold ore, which drops 2-6 nuggets, with a chance to obtain more when using a pickaxe enchanted with 'fortune'; mining gilded blackstone which also has a chance to drop nuggets; finding them in chests in desert temples, jungle temples, villages, and bastion remnants; and by smelting gold equipment. Gold nuggets are used to craft golden carrots, glistering melon slices, and firework stars. Piglins will pick up nearby gold nuggets but do not actively seek them out. In the 'Minecraft vs Minecraft' mod, gold nuggets serve as a main currency for purchasing allied or enemy units.
