In Minecraft, the Guardian Spawn Egg is an item used to directly spawn a Guardian. It can be obtained in Creative mode through the inventory or by using commands, but it cannot be crafted in Survival mode. When used, the player simply right-clicks on the ground or other surface to immediately spawn a Guardian. Guardians are hostile aquatic mobs that typically spawn around ocean monuments. They attack using laser beams, targeting players and other creatures. The Guardian Spawn Egg is green with orange spots, and it can be found in the Creative inventory or generated using specific commands. Furthermore, players can use spawn eggs to change the mob type of monster spawners. While spawn eggs are not obtainable in Survival mode, they can still be spawned using commands. Guardian Spawn Eggs can also be renamed, and the renamed Guardian will display the name, which will also appear in death messages. If a rabbit spawn egg is renamed "Toast," the rabbit's hidden skin will appear. Naming a spawn egg "Dinnerbone" or "Grumm" will cause the spawned mob to appear upside down with the name. Renaming a sheep "jeb_" will cause its wool color to cycle. Note that hostile mobs spawned with renamed spawn eggs will not be prevented from despawning, unlike mobs named with nametags.
