Light Gray Candle

A light gray candle is a decorative item in Minecraft, introduced in the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I. It can be crafted by combining a candle and a light gray dye. Light gray dye can be crafted using bone meal and an ink sac or purchased from wandering traders. Candles can be found in ancient cities and trial chambers, or crafted from honeycomb and string. Light gray candles can be placed on top of any solid block and lit with a flint and steel or fire charge. Up to four candles of the same color can be placed in one block space, which affects the amount of light produced. A single candle emits a light level of 3, and four candles emit a light level of 12. Light gray candles can also be placed on a cake, turning it into a candle cake, which will be lit.
