Lingering Potion of Night Vision

In Minecraft, the Lingering Potion of Night Vision is a special potion that can be thrown to create a cloud of night vision effect on the ground. Any player or mob that passes through this cloud will gain the night vision effect. Unlike regular night vision potions, it is not consumed directly but instead provides a persistent area effect. Lingering Potions of Night Vision are crafted using a Splash Potion of Night Vision and Dragon's Breath. They are useful when exploring dark areas such as caves, the Nether, or the deep ocean, and are also used to craft arrows tipped with night vision. The effect duration of Lingering Potions is shorter than regular potions; for example, the Lingering Potion of Night Vision (2:00) provides a 2-minute night vision effect, while the Lingering Potion of Night Vision (0:45) lasts 45 seconds. Players can also use redstone dust to extend the duration. Additionally, Lingering Potions can be used to craft other items or obtained through commands in creative mode. Each version of Minecraft has a specific ID and /give command for this potion.
